I was preparing for my wedding in December 2008 and decided to start with a personal trainer in late July 2008. My main goals from the training programme were to lose weight, increase my cardio fitness levels and improve my health. After just a few months of training I felt really good for my wedding day - I had lost around 13kg in weight, several inches off my waistline and could now run for 40mins or more non-stop. I remain committed to the fitness programme and continue to enjoy the improvements in my health and fitness.
